Please read the following terms and conditions from our Refund Policy prior to submitting a cancellation and refund request.
You can cancel a test or request a refund within 30 days of purchase
You can cancel your order within 30 days of purchase and the test has not yet been used then you will be eligible for a refund.
A test cannot be refunded if:
A refund is requested outside the 30 day cancellation period
A refund is requested but the test has been used, including:
A referral has been taken to a pathology collection centre and a sample has been taken
A sample has been returned to an at-home test kit provider
A refund is requested but results have already been received (full or partial); we can't process refunds if the client's test results and report have already been uploaded to their dashboard
A recollection is issued by the pathology provider and the client decides not to proceed with it; this is treated as a voluntary cancellation and is not eligible for a refund
Cancellation fees and credits
We will refund you less a $10 cancellation charge for processing the test, associated Stripe fees and admin costs.
Cash refund
If your client purchased the test themselves, a refund will be processed and the cost of the test (less the $10 cancellation charge) will be refunded to the original payment method used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed (subject to satisfactory confirmation).
Credit refund
If you purchased the test on behalf of your client as a practitioner, the refund will be processed and the cost of the test (less the $10 cancellation charge) will be issued as a credit note to your practitioner account. You can use your credits to purchase any test within Bloody Good Tests for any client in the future.
At home test kit refunds
If the test is an at home test kit then the total refund amount will be reduced by the shipping cost of that test kit and any additional costs charged by that test provider.
Please note these charges are in addition to the BGT $10 cancellation charge. These fees cover items such as the vendors material, packaging and shipping fees .
Nutripath: $50 refund fee if sample has not been returned
Fatty Acids Labs: $10 +$15 shipping fee.
Refund request after sample has been taken but before results are received
If we receive your refund request after your blood sample has been processed by the laboratory, but before it has been uploaded to your account, we’ll refund you 10% of the test price.
How long will it take to receive the refund?
If you are entitled to a refund, we will process it within seven business days of receiving your cancellation request.
