Optimal ranges let you define your own preferred reference ranges for specific biomarkers. When you view a client's results, you can overlay your optimal ranges alongside the standard lab reference ranges. This makes it easier to assess results against the thresholds that matter most to your clinical practice.
Create an optimal range template
Log in to the practitioner portal
Click Optimal Ranges in the left-hand menu.
Click Create Optimal Ranges.
Name your template and select the gender it applies to (male, female, or both).
Click Add a biomarker and start typing the biomarker name, or select it from the dropdown menu.
Enter your preferred optimal range values for that biomarker.
Repeat for each biomarker you want to include.
Click Save.
View results with your optimal ranges
When viewing a client's results, use the View Ranges dropdown at the top of the results page and select your saved range template. Your optimal ranges will display alongside the standard reference ranges.
Things to know
You can create multiple templates for different use cases or demographics.
At this stage, each template can be set to Male, Female, or Both. You cannot create all three under a single template.
Optimal ranges are for your clinical reference only and do not change what the client sees on their results.
